Did you know that you can do way more than just click around to move items in your inventory? Make your life simple and drastically speed up item sorting with these helpful shortcuts!
- Left-click: Picks up a single item or stack. If you click and drag, it will split stacks evenly across available slots.
- Right-click: Picks up half of a stack (or the larger half if it's an odd number).
- Middle-click: Sort the inventory & automatically combine items into stacks
- Shift + Left/Right-click: Moves an item or stack between the inventory and hotbar, or between the inventory and an open container like a chest or furnace.
- Shift + Left/Right-click on armor: Equips the armor piece. If already equipped, it moves back to the inventory.
- Numbers 1-9: Selects the corresponding hotbar slot. If an item is already in that slot, it swaps with the hovered item.
- Q (or your custom drop key): Drops a single item from the stack.
- Ctrl + Q: Drops the entire stack of items.
- Shift + Double-click: When picking up an item, shift-double clicking another item moves all similar items to or from the inventory.
- Shift + Clicking in a furnace: Moves fuel or cookable items to the appropriate slots.
- Shift + Clicking in a crafting table: Crafts as many items as possible based on available resources
- 'Double-Shift-Click' to do this for all existing stacks of that item.
